COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is and introduction to human development from the perspective of physical, emotional, intellectual and social development.
Rationale:
As ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ, we must never overemphasize the spiritual aspect of man to the point that we forget God created man in His image as a whole being made up of spirit, soul and body. Human development includes the concept that man is more than the sum of his parts and that each aspect of man has direct influence on every other aspect of his complete being.
Prerequisites:
Major courses of study in the area of counseling.
