Course Description
The aim of this course is to help the student understand the basic concepts of the human mind and character and how these influence human behavior and reaction to various situations and stimuli. This in turn would increase the skill and competence of the learner in counseling situations.
Rationale
Pastoral ministry requires knowledge of human needs and how to assist the hurting. Counseling is a vital part of Pastoral ministry.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this module, the students are expected to:
- Understand principles of Human Behavior and personality.
- Develop an understanding of human needs, motivation, and personality
structure.
- Explain how understanding human behavior can be used to select, develop and implement the best approach for counseling.
